Most modern golf courses recycle waste water in retaining ponds that is then used for irrigation. Also, in these climates, courses will use grasses that are drought tolerant. Finally, in desert areas, there is usually a limit as to how much acreage can be grassed for play so that water usage will be limited.
Thanks, Scott. In St George, it’s 2700 feet. In Mesquite, around 1,500 feet.
A question? Where does the water keeping all that greenery green come from ?
I've been through that stretch between Nevada/Utah several times and must agree it is one of the most scenic parts of the entire Interstate System.
Great question, Ed.

Gary, what's the elevation of these courses? Also, you take great photos, don't let anyone tell you differently.
